Research Associate

Full-time

Pabna, Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Lead defined research activities within BILSER's programmes, from study design through data analysis and scientific writing.

Responsibilities

—Design and conduct laboratory and field research
—Analyse data and contribute to manuscripts and reports
—Supervise research assistants and students

Requirements

—PhD or MSc in microbiology, molecular biology, or a related field
—Demonstrated research experience and publication record
—Strong written and spoken English

Senior Research Assistant

Full-time

Pabna, Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Support ongoing research projects with advanced laboratory work, data management, and day-to-day coordination.

Responsibilities

—Perform molecular and microbiological laboratory techniques
—Maintain accurate research records and datasets
—Coordinate sampling and project logistics

Requirements

—MSc in life sciences or a related discipline
—Hands-on laboratory experience in microbiology or molecular biology
—Attention to detail and good record-keeping

Research Assistant

Full-time

Pabna, Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Contribute to laboratory and field activities across BILSER's research programmes under supervision.

Responsibilities

—Assist with sample collection, processing, and testing
—Prepare media, reagents, and laboratory materials
—Record and organise research data

Requirements

—BSc or MSc in life sciences or a related discipline
—Basic laboratory skills and willingness to learn
—Ability to work as part of a small team

Junior Research Assistant

Part-time / Internship

Pabna, Rajshahi, Bangladesh

An entry-level opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical research experience.

Responsibilities

—Support laboratory and field work as directed
—Help maintain equipment, supplies, and records
—Participate in bootcamps and training activities

Requirements

—Current student or recent graduate in a life sciences programme
—Interest in environmental or infectious disease research
—Commitment to a structured training programme
